About Honeywell Home

Honeywell Home is a home-comfort brand supported by Resideo. Resideo uses the Honeywell Home trademark under license from Honeywell International Inc. That brand relationship does not mean every Honeywell-labeled control belongs to the same product family or uses the same accessories.

This catalog grouping also includes legacy Honeywell commercial controls. Those products retain the Honeywell brand and use their own model-specific technical documents and support sources; residential Honeywell Home or Resideo guidance does not automatically apply.

Find the right control for the installation

A replacement should be selected for the equipment it controls, not its appearance. Record the complete model number, including its suffix, and identify whether the installation uses conventional heating and cooling, a heat pump, or a separate control interface.

Compare the model's documented power requirements and supported heating/cooling stages with the existing installation. For connected thermostats, also check the required network, app, and accessory configuration. Features such as remote sensing, humidity control, scheduling, and keypad restrictions should be confirmed for the exact model.

Before disconnecting equipment, have the installed terminal connections and any separate sensors, zone panels, or equipment interface modules documented. Our existing-controls checklist helps organize the information needed for a product discussion.

Thermostats, accessories, and system controls

Use the manufacturer’s exact-model documentation to distinguish a complete thermostat from a sensor, interface module, mounting plate, or protective cover. A matching brand name alone does not establish accessory fit or electrical compatibility.

For a multi-component installation, review the documentation for the thermostat and its associated controls together. Equipment-specific wiring instructions take precedence over a generic family description.
