Temperature instruments provide a measurement or local readout. A temperature display does not by itself provide heating or cooling control.
Compare the measured temperature range, power supply, probe configuration and mounting dimensions with the application. Where an instrument includes a separate light switch, distinguish that function from temperature regulation and consult the model-specific installation document.
