PROsync separates the room thermostat from the module wired to the HVAC equipment. Optional remotes let the system use temperatures from other rooms, with scheduling, averaging and occupancy-based choices for which readings guide operation.
Start with the T755WHO system
The T755WHO PROsync system includes the main thermostat and its equipment module, linked at the factory. The room thermostat can use batteries or a suitable hardwired supply; the equipment module requires hardwired power.
The documented configurations support up to two heating and two cooling stages for conventional equipment, or four heating and two cooling stages for heat pumps. Equipment type, wiring and installer settings determine the applicable configuration.
Add sensing where it is needed
- R751WO indoor remote: adds room temperature and occupancy sensing, a display and local controls. It requires the T755WHO system and pairs with the equipment module. It does not switch the HVAC equipment itself.
- R250W outdoor sensor: sends outdoor temperature to the system and supports the documented outdoor-temperature and balance-point functions. It also requires the T755WHO system and pairs with its equipment module.
Both accessories are separate purchases. The equipment module included with the T755WHO is the starting point for pairing them; buying a remote sensor alone does not create a working thermostat system.
How room sensing affects control
The T755WHO installation guide describes averaging across remotes, scheduling which room is in control, and occupancy modes that select or average occupied sensing locations. These choices determine how the shared HVAC system responds. Adding room sensors does not by itself add independently controlled zone dampers.
Use the PROsync-specific pairing instructions when expanding an installation. A PRO1 brand name, Wi-Fi capability or similar sensor model number is not enough to establish compatibility with this system.
Plan an installation or expansion
Identify the equipment stages, current thermostat wiring, power at the equipment module and the rooms to be sensed. Check wireless communication at the intended indoor and outdoor sensor locations before final mounting. Request a project review with the existing model numbers and your desired control arrangement.
