Step 1 of 3

Tell us about your project

Answer what you can. Every question is optional; leave “Not sure yet” for anything you want to confirm later.

Your building

Choose the closest fit. Equipment and control requirements matter more than the building label.

For an upgrade, keep the existing equipment and controller model numbers with your plan.

Equipment & temperature control

Check the equipment schedule or model documentation. Choose specialist equipment for line-voltage, proprietary communicating, or other systems.

Count the heating/cooling systems, not the rooms. This is planning context, not a thermostat quantity calculation.

Separate control means an area can call for heating or cooling independently. Extra room sensors alone do not create zones.

If several rooms share one unit, choose whether they share a setting or need zone dampers. Your installer can identify the arrangement.

Unsure? You can still continue.
