System requirements
- Use the host-specific sensor count and configuration in the manual’s page 6 chart.
- Maximum sensor-to-thermostat distance: 300 ft. Recommended cable: 18 or 20 AWG, three-conductor shielded.
- Route sensor wiring separately from thermostat/power wiring and enable remote sensing as instructed for the host.
Limitations & exclusions
- Systems with power interruptions as part of normal operation
- Outdoor sensing: this is the indoor F145-1328, not the F145-1378 outdoor model.

The F145-1328 moves indoor temperature sensing to a suitable room location. Supported sensor counts and averaging depend on the host: some models disable the onboard sensor, while selected staging models allow up to three remote indoor sensors.
